About the Artist

An artist-researcher working with the theme of sensitivity to meaning
in an age of informational and technological acceleration.

Her practice is formed at the intersection of artistic experience and systems thinking. Its central question asks how a person may retain the position of creator and make conscious choices within an environment of excessive stimuli
and manufactured meanings.

Before returning to artistic practice,
Marina spent more than twenty years in information technology
as a systems analyst and functional architect on major corporate projects.

Her experience of working with complex systems
became the foundation of her artistic method.

Since 2022, the artist has developed the practice
as a research system, in which individual series perform distinct functions
within a larger process.

Its key directions are the series
Foundations, The Spirit Whispers the Path,
Emotions, and Zodiac.

In her work, art functions as a navigational system,
enabling the individual to restore the ability
to discern meaning and sustain attention
in an age of acceleration.
